La Lugana Trattoria will welcome you on the shores of Lake Garda to spend a unique Christmas or Boxing Day with your family, enjoying gourmet and traditional flavors and wines from Ca’ dei Frati, the family winery, open for a special closed-door tour on December 26, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
Overnight stays are available at the Lugana Parco al Lago and Wine Hotel, our properties located at the same address as the restaurant, convenient for two days of relaxing December on the lake.
What will we do?
In addition to the Christmas and Boxing Day lunch or dinner at La Lugana Trattoria, on December 26th at 6:30 pm we’re offering a special Christmas-themed tour of the Ca’ dei Frati winery (closed to the public). We’ll take a one-hour tour (in Italian) with a sommelier from the Dal Cero family at Ca’ dei Frati to discover the winery and the history of the area. This will be followed by a tableside tasting of three wines with a savory appetizer from our La Fenice pastry shop.
The event is confirmed even in case of inclement weather. For any international guests, the sommeliers will be able to explain the wines in English at the end of the tour.

The visit to the cellar and lunch or dinner on December 26th
The experience we’re offering for this special day goes beyond gastronomy. Before dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Lugana DOC with an exclusive tour of the cellar (in Italian) at Ca’ dei Frati, open especially for this special event. Alternatively, you can come for lunch at our establishments, La Lugana Trattoria or La Fenice Bistrot, on December 26th and then continue with the cellar experience.
All dishes can also be prepared for vegetarians with at least 10 days’ notice by emailing us at mariachiara@cadeifrati.it.
For those under 18: there is a reduced ticket for a special menu with pasta with tomato sauce, cutlet with fries, and dessert as per the adult menu for both lunch and dinner at La Lugana Trattoria (at La Fenice, they can order à la carte). For the winery tour, minors will be served juice instead of wine.
Seats are very limited due to the exclusivity of the evening and to ensure excellent service throughout the event. We therefore recommend booking as soon as possible: seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are already open.
Dogs are allowed in the restaurants and during the winery tasting, but are not allowed during the winery tour for hygiene reasons.
Our locations are just 1.2 km apart and are located in Lugana di Sirmione, Brescia. Both have ample and convenient parking. Ca’ dei Frati is located at Via Frati 22. The La Fenice bistro and La Lugana Trattoria are located at Via Verona 69/71, directly on the lake.
