What will we do?

Immerse yourself in a unique and fascinating experience on the enchanting shores of Lake Garda. Discover the history of a winery, opened specifically for this event, with a private and intimate visit with a sommelier from the Dal Cero family.

Let yourself be seduced by the refinement of Ca’ dei Frati’s fine wines, with a four-course gourmet dinner, created to delight the palate with a common thread dedicated to fine mushrooms and truffles. Everything will be accompanied by the evocative melodies of live music, which will add a touch of magic to this extraordinary evening.

The event is also confirmed in case of bad weather: our veranda on the lake is in fact closed and well heated for maximum comfort.

The visit to the cellar

The experience we propose for this special evening goes beyond gastronomy. In fact, before dinner, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm of the history of Lugana Doc, with an exclusive visit to the cellar (in Italian) at Ca’ dei Frati during closing time, opened specifically for this special event. The tour will have an exceptional guide: an expert sommelier from the Dal Cero family. At the end of the tour you will taste the classic Extra Brut method of Ca’ dei Frati as a toast at the beginning of the evening with a small artisanal savory aperitif made by our La Fenice pastry shop. For any foreign guests, the sommeliers will be able to explain the wines in English at the end of the tour.

Dinner on the lake

Prepare to experience an unforgettable evening on the enchanted shores of Lake Garda, where the sunset paints the sky in breathtaking colours.

A four-course gourmet dinner awaits you, each expertly paired by our sommeliers with fine wines to enhance every flavour.

Our chef Edoardo Nizzola has created an exclusive menu entirely themed on mushrooms and truffles: it begins with a refined appetizer, followed by a first course that celebrates and enhances the two main ingredients of the evening with a touch of innovation.

The second course, a masterpiece of culinary art, will surprise you with its delicacy and complexity of flavors. To conclude, an artisanal high pastry dessert, created with skill and passion by Maestro Manuel Pedrali, will offer you an unforgettable ending.

Each dish will be accompanied by a wine chosen by our sommeliers to enhance the unique characteristics of the dishes, offering a complete and harmonious food and wine experience.

To further enrich the evening, Luca De Filippis’ jazz sax melodies will fill the air, creating a magical and relaxing atmosphere that will make this experience truly unique.

To further enrich the evening, the enchanting melodies of Luca De Filippis who will entertain the evening with his jazz sax, creating a magical and relaxing atmosphere that will make this experience truly unique.

The evening menu dedicated to mushrooms and truffles

  • Welcome
    Hot broth with undergrowth scents and crunchy red beetroot wafer Appetizer Yellow polenta flan, goat’s ricotta and chanterelles, parmesan sauce, chanterelle powder and mini bacon cracklings of the Morainic hills (combined with Pratto)
  • First course
    Risotto Acquerello meets his majesty Boletus Edulis, the autumn porcini mushroom, with cream of potatoes with Pozzolengo saffron (paired with Brolettino)
  • Second course
    Pork cooked in CBT, Ronchedone sauce, apple and truffle Unginato on sautéed black cabbage (paired with Ronchedone)
  • Surprise dessert from Pastry Chef Manuel Pedrali (paired with Tre Filer passito wine)

“Forest enchantment: mushrooms, truffles and wines” is a one-of-a-kind event, which celebrates the beauty of Lake Garda, the refinement of gourmet Italian cuisine, the excellence of Ca’ dei Frati wines. An experience that will catapult you into a world of taste, refinement and wonder, leaving an indelible memory.

Info and costs

Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this extraordinary evening and treat yourself to an evening of pure enchantment on Lake Garda. Places are very limited due to the exclusivity and unrepeatability of the evening and to guarantee excellent service in all phases of the event. We therefore recommend booking as soon as possible: places are available until sold out and reservations are already open.

The cost of the evening per person is 120 euros, including wines paired with the menu, water and coffee. The price includes the entire experience: the exclusive visit to the cellar with a savory aperitif and a toast at the beginning of the evening, all courses included in the dinner menu and live music.

It is possible to participate only in the visit to the cellar with a toast with the Cuvèe Extra Brut at a cost of 50 euros or it is possible to participate only in the dinner at a cost of 85 euros including wines or 70 euros without wines.

Places are limited in any case.

The duration of the event is from 6.45pm, the conclusion is expected around 10.30pm.

The locations of the evening

Our locations are only 1.2km away from each other and are located in Lugana di Sirmione, Brescia. Both enjoy a large and convenient car park. The evening will begin at 6.45 pm in via Frati 22 at the Ca’ dei Frati company and at 8.30 pm we will move to the La Fenice bistro, in via Verona 69/71 , directly on the lake.

Right next to the La Fenice bistro we have a owned lake view hotel: Hotel Lugana Parco al Lago.

You will be able to relax throughout the evening and comfortably reach your room for the night at the end of the event, without even moving your car. Breakfast, served in our lakeside room, is included and includes incredible freshly baked pastry croissants.
